We've got some good pictures from the weekend. Ian in his high chair - I think he was thinking hard if you know what I mean because he got a little stinky... Then on Sunday performing for his gorilla in the living room. He can be quite smiley - and drooly. He has four teeth now - the top two have come in really well and the bottom two are poking through now.

Rolling update

So yesterday I blogged that Ian would probably master rolling from his back to his belly soon. Well little did I realize that would mean a few hours later. After he woke up at 10:15 from his nap the little guy decided to show off. I'd put him on his back on the playmat, leave the room for a second, hear a little grunting, come back in and he was on his belly. This went on for about an hour. I got the video camera and caught him doing it - he wouldn't do it with the camera right on him but if I was across the room he would roll right over. He was so proud of himself - smiling away at me when I asked him what he was doing. So now its non stop rolling - he doesn't stay on his back. At 5:30 this morning there was some fussing coming from his room and when I went he the little guy was on his belly - legs bundled and all!

He's just the best little baby!

Here is a picture from this morning - Mr. Stinky has been sleeping since 8:30. He woke up at 6:15 all smiles for Daddy in his crib. Mummy was still asleep and has had a hard time motivating herself this morning. But its our day at home so I haven't had to motivate too far! Ian is probably going through a growth spurt. Tuesday and Wednesday he slept ALOT! And yesterday at daycare he ate more than normal. He's still going to bed at 7 PM give or take fifteen minutes and sleeps almost through the night. Usually he wakes up in the early morning hours for a snack and its back to sleep until about 6. Today we were going to meet the mommies from the mommy group at 2 for a walk but the weather looks less then perfect. Very gray out. Daddy got us a new TV stand that will be better for when Ian is moving around which shouldn't be long. The Pediatric Rehab doctor they went to on Tuesday said Ian will most likely be rolling very very soon (which he is but gets that arm caught under him) and sitting up. I'm amazed that he's getting so good at it so quickly. Gone is my tilty boy! He will still have to go back in five months after his year real birthday for a last visit. He thinks by then Ian will be pretty much caught up developmentally to other babies his age.

Oh - funny story about Ian's Easter present. We got him a Fisher Price singing toolbox (yes he is ready to help daddy around the house). Well it only sang the alphabet up to P. I was so sure that it didn't go past P that I went back to Target and tried all the other ones - they only went to P too. Well little did I realize that most toys have a plastic tabby thing you pull out when you take it out of the packaging that then lets it do full versions of all the features. Who knew? Obviously we kept the singing toolbox - now that we have a full alphabet song.

Easter with Ian

Ian was a good little boy and the Easter Bunny came to visit him. And so did Grammy, Grampy and Auntie Lorraine. But for some reason there are no pictures with Auntie Lorraine. Ian went to church and unlike any of the other kids in the crying room he fell asleep. When we got back the Easter Bunny had been at our house but as you can see Ian didn't really care and continued his nap. He woke soon before company arrived and boy did he entertain them. We bet Grampy had to take a shower after Ian drooled all over him. Ian entertained Grammy by reading her stories - well ok he just told his own versions. While everyone else ate ham Ian got to enjoy some good pears. What a smiley guy we have! And he was seven months yesterday - he's getting big!

More Photos

Auntie Kasia took some good pictures when Ian visited Noah a few weeks ago. As you can see he can hold his head up really well. And - after Mummy posted this morning's St. Patty's Day greeting Ian woke up - nice nap - all of ten minutes. He then proceeded to play under his gym and when Mummy was in the bathroom she heard a struggle out in the living room. Ian rolled from his back to his belly! Quite a feat for the little guy! We got some quick pictures before rolling him back over but didn't have time to post them before we left for the day. He was exhausted and was still sleeping when Mummy dropped him off at daycare.

Happy St. Patty's Day

Ian hit the bottle at little early and was down for the count by 7:15 AM... poor kid. He is wearing his St. Patrick's Day socks but who knows how long those will stay on...

Oh - and the other day we took a good picture of Ian in a hat a woman from the club made him. I was hoping he would fit into it by the end of the winter but it looks like his head just isn't big enough!

Teething pain

Ian's top teeth are cutting through and he's a cranky boy! Daddy had his hands full yesterday. But Mummy found out Ian likes to dance to loud music and so we tried to tire him out and it seemed to work. He slept from 7:30 to 12:30 am then 1 am to 5 AM, talked in his crib until 6:15 and was up for the day. here is Ian getting ready for school... and talking to a turtle at Grammy and Grampy's over the weekend...

Whirlwind weekend

Well it was a fast weekend trip to MA and NH to visit all the Lynches. Ian visited a new state on Saturday when we went to Nottingham to meet Cousin Noah. Ian put on a show on his belly and stared at Bear while Noah slept the morning away and briefly woke up for a bottle. We are going to have to wait until both Ian and Noah are a little bigger to see if they like to play with each other. Besides, Ian's way of playing with someone right now is to eat their fingers and I don't think Noah would have appreciated that!

We had the camera, but kept confusing ours with Grammy and Grampy's - so any pictures that were taken were with theirs and they will have to email them to me. Auntie Colleen and Uncle Kenny took some of the I-Man doing his thing though and you can see them on their blog. The ride home was as uneventful as the ride up - Ian slept the whole way. He was a little fussy because of his teething - we think the top teeth are coming in first. Poor kid! He was glad to sleep in his own crib last night and thank goodness for daylight savings - he slept until almost 7 AM with the moving of the clocks forward.

All I'm saying is...

Hi!

Ian had a great day with Daddy - even though he got his syngergis shot for RSV this morning and then a two hour nap this afternoon. Daddy put the Delta Zeta onesie on him today and when Mummy was undressing Ian tonight for bed she was pleasantly surprised and had to take a picture. As you can see Ian can sort of sit on his own with a little help balancing. He much prefers sitting or being on his belly so he can look around. Laying on your back doesn't let you see much. We are in for it I think pretty soon because the little guy will be on th e move! Oh - and the nurse weighed him today - still not 13 pounds yet - 12 pounds 12.5 ounces!
