Last Friday Ian went with his buddies to the local farm. It was a beautiful day and he like hiking around the paths, meeting the cows, and climbing the rocks. Its been a rainy week here and I've been busy with work so not much going on. Ian had gym class today and experienced his first bump when a kid ran full tilt into him and knocked him off his feet. I think he was more shocked than anything. The kid didn't mean to do it - he just wasn't looking. Lately the I Man has been taking to asking everything in the form of a question. Can we say future Jepordy contestant?

Ian's vist to grammy and grampy's

Ian is visiting Grammy and Grampy for a few days. That just means a transfer of our typical routine from Bethel to Methuen. Here he is enjoying Grampy's new tv in the basement.

Easter and spring happenings

Ian has been really busy this past week. We planted seeds - and with our shady yard it might not be a great crop - but Ian wanted peas, beans and pumpkins. I talked him down from the pumpkins to some nice small gourds. But as well remember from previous years - I didn't fare so well so hopefully this year is a better result. Ian also took part in his very first Easter Egg hunt and breakfast with the Easter bunny on Sat at church He looks like he didn't like the bunny but in reality he loved him - just doesn't like smiling for the camera. he didn't quite get the whole easter egg hunt thing but did much better on Sunday when the bunny came to his house - luckily we have a great neighbor named Peter so Peter Rabbit hopped on over and hid eggs in Ian's yard. We got a good video of him going "oh wow - oh wow - OH WOW" when he saw the eggs but its on the video camera and I don't have much time to upload it today. So here are some quick pics and a quick video of him hunting eggs. We also fit in a quick trip the the stream daddy fishes so ian could check it out and Daddy could try out his new GPS we gave him as an early birthday present.
