Sledding party

Ian tried out his new sled from the neighbors today after the snow stopped.

New Do for a New Year

Like my new haircut? I went with Daddy yesterday afternoon. Later today after the snow stops I'm going sledding with Mommy and Daddy- if it ever stops snowing...

Ready for Spring Training

Now that the Patriots are done for the season Ian's turned his attention to the Red Sox. I think he needs a better fitting hat before spring training.

Christmas 2008

Well I wish we had more pictures from Christmas but ten minutes into present opening the ole Kodak camera died. We did get a new camera on Saturday morning in NH and have some pictures of the cousins playing together - well ok crawling all over each other - but pictures none the less. Thanks to everyone for making Ian's Christmas special - he loves all his new toys and hardly wants to nap because he is missing out on play time with the toys.

Snow man

Mommy's been trying to get Ian to understand what a snowman is and today he got even more snow to practice with for real. He understood that Daddy made a snowball and threw it and then wanted to imitate him. We lasted about 15 minutes outside. I think he needs a sled for Christmas;) And I think I know where he will get one...

Ian rides the Santa Train

The Danbury Rail Museum has a Santa Train and Ian went on it today. Boy did he have fun! He was tooting the entire way through the museum and while on the ride. Then he got to meet Santa and shook hands nicely with him when it was his turn. He loved the train sets they had set up and basically had a look of awe and wonder on his face the whole time. Then we went for lunch at the Sycamore and picked out a tree. Mommy and Daddy didn't mean to get such a small tree but I guess it babyproofed itself because its up on the side table in the dining room.

Ian and Ho Ho

Ian has a new friend that he found in his room in the basket of stuffed animals. He rescued HoHo from the animal basket and has been dragging him around all day thinking that if he feeds him puffs he might get in with the guy in red before the big day.

not too bad

I wasn't even late yesterday when I got to NY - and I carried my luggage on so I was even faster getting to the car. But still it was after 11 PM when I got home. But - I'm here now and catching up. Ian's as great as ever and had a fun time with Grammy when I was gone. He's walking with a little more confidence now. I'll get some video today if I can. But I'm not feeling great and have some work to do.

Dayton has wireless

Who knew - wireless internet is free in the Dayton airport while it would have cost $8 to log in at LaGuardia yesterday morning. Comes in handy when you are delayed and don't have a book to read. I'm making my way back from the office and had known that I wouldn't be home early - but I'm not really looking forward to the drive home from the airport by myself after 10 PM tonight. Guess not much work is getting done tomorrow....

Especially since they just updated our flight and instead of a 30 minute delay we are up to an hour delay... fun...

Mommy's back - for a day

As you know - when Mommy's away there are no updates! Daddy had a successful five days with the little guy. But I don't know who was more relieved to see me tonight - Ian or Daddy. I'll take some pictures tomorrow to update you on my little boy - wow he's grown in a week! Grammy's coming tomorrow for the second part of my week of travel - Ohio for Tuesday and Wednesday.

Cat sounds

The first part of the clip cuts off that I am asking Ian to make the cat sound...
