Headache free!

So the past few weeks have been a little crazy. The headache situation had gotten so bad I went to the ER. Long story short - finally the headaches are gone - in time for vacation! The little guy is doing well - he was a little out of sorts with my not feeling well and he has taken to telling us that he is going to be a doctor. But one that works on construction workers. He's still taking a great nap in the afternoon so life is good around here most days. We will update with more pictures soon - I have a bunch that I haven't downloaded yet and you can really see the IMan growing much taller.

Red barn and Ian beating the heat

The heat and humidity is crazy here. I don't like it and neither does Ian. Last week the garage was finished. Its what Ian likes to call the red barn. He asked for a soft sheep to have to live there and a cow. Ian still likes building and likes to use real tools. You all really shouldn't be surprised that he knows he's using a 3/4 wrench...

Back in the groove

Sorry for the lack of posts - I was away last week for work and Steven (as much as he is on the computer) has never learned how to update the blog. Anyway - the big news here is that the garage was rebuilt last week. Right now its a pretty shade of pink from the tinted primer. We are going with a red and white look - Ian says its going to be his barn and he will have a cow there. How upset do you think he'll be when there is no cow but rather a place for Daddy's tools? Probably not that upset since Ian is so into tools. The workers come tomorrow to finish the painting and then it will be done. We would have never been able to finish the job so quick without hiring help. Ian was even upset today when the dumpster was picked up. He was getting used to having a job site around here. We will need to redo the fence on the driveway but think we will do something shorter and not so tall and move the gate over one spot. Its hot as heck here today and we've had the ac on in our bedrooms all day. The I-man is taking a good nap.
