Mommy's back so we get to play!

I was away last week for work. Grammy came again and Daddy took a couple days off. This morning we met up with Gabriel and his mommy at the splash park. After a little apprehension, Ian jumped right in and had fun. He is 23 months old! I can't belive it. We are doing a small friend's birthday here on August 15th. Probably playing in the yard and then having pizza and cake.

a day at the zoo

Ian went to the Beardsley Zoo in Bridgeport yesterday. The highlight was the giant cow and his friends the sheep. The other animals were pretty cool too - but our kid likes the farm animals best.

Folding laundry

When Ian helps it turns from folding laundry to wearing it... Yes those are Daddy's undies.

I'm back

I was away in New Orleans for work this past week hence the lack of updates. Today is a big day - breakfast with Elmo this morning so we are rushing to get out of the house.

Ian's 22 month update

So we have been seeing a specialist for Ian's slow growth. We went on Monday and he had gained just about a pound in three months and half an inch. Not nearly enough in the doctor's eyes. So we are on a medication to stimulate his appetite. After two doses the past two nights I think I see a difference this morning. Of course I'm having to get creative with how/what we feed him (pancakes get red food coloring and are Elmo pancakes because they make him red) but this morning he ate one medium sized pancake and a whole bowl of cereal and milk. He's working on his PediSure drink and some juice before we head out to tennis. So no turning the car seat yet as he's 19 pounds 8 ounces. Oh well. At least I don't have to buy alot of new clothes since he fits into them forever.
