Fireman

Ian got to climb over a firetruck today at the Mom's club end of the year party. He liked it and now tells you that a firetruck goes whoooo whooo while swinging his arm.

Ian Builds a Bear

I had a Delta Zeta philanthropy project with my alumnae chapter this week and Ian got to come. We did Build a Bear and the bears were sent to children with hearing problems at a hospital in Texas. All the bears got hearing aids on their ears. Ian really liked the whole bear experience and as you can see carried it around and I was afraid that I wouldn't get it away from him. Luckily for me we paid for the bear and he didn't notice when it stayed in a big bag that one of the other ladies was taking to mail to texas. And he hasn't asked for the bear since he has so many other stuffed animals here at home (duckie, hippo Kate, teddy with red bow, doggie, froggie etc).

Splish Splash

Mr. Ian had quite the bubble bath to relax after a long day. He had his last music class which we had to walk to because the car was having issues- turns out we need a new lock cylinder. anyway - it was towed by AAA to the mechanic and we might see it next Tuesday if lucky. Ian's learning to smile too when asked - as you can see below. Its pretty funny.

Anniversary trip

Here are few shots from our weekend away - well ok two nights and one full day. Then who could resist the playground at the lake with the little guy?

In need of a wrench

Daddy accidentally broke the wrench this morning helping Ian with his tools. He substituted a real one. Mommy didn't like that idea and so Ian now has a new 21 piece tool set just for the wrench. The other 20 tools aren't bad either.

Our anniversary weekend

Steven was able to surprise me on our anniversary weekend by taking me away to North Conway. We stayed at a B&B - http://www.redelephantinn.com/index.htm - and Gammy and Dick watched Ian with help from Auntie Colleen, Uncle Ken, and Sophie at the lake. Things must have gotten a little crazy when the Lynches from Notthingham showed up and added another baby and doggie into the mix. Steven and I did the north country thing - I'd never driven the Mount Washington Auto road, so we did, we drove up and back around down through Maine when we were through and found some potential fly fishing spots for Stiegerman. We had a great anniversary dinner at the 1785 house and then back to pick up the little guy on Sunday morning. We have some pictures on the camera but I'm finsing that I have alot to catch up on today so those will have to come later.
