Gingerbread houses

We had our friends Griffin and Evelyn over last night for pizza and a little gingerbread house building. There was a lot of candy eating, frosting licking and then bouncing off the walls.

12 weeks old

yesterday Emily was twelve weeks old. She is so much more alert than I remember Ian being. She is grabbing at her toys on her seat and having big conversations.

here are a few clips from the concert yesterday. Daddy surprised Ian by arriving just in time and after the IMan yelled hi to mommy he did notice daddy and he got a shout out too but I didn't have it on video.

8 weeks, Thanksgiving and Santa

The bix 6...

weeks that is :) Emily likes to cuddle, eat, have her diaper changed. You know the normal stuff a baby does. She was a hit at the doctor's office yesterday when I went for my six week check up. And then she went to her first party down the street last night at the neighbors. She's got a busy social calendar.

My favorite part of the explanation is to stop and crawl like a cow. That and if you are a New York Person you have to get out.

Happy Halloween

We had a spur of the moment Halloween party with our house guests - Ian had a blast. Emily slept right through it all and trick or treating (we went to a couple neighbor's houses we knew were home and ready for us).

We had SPOOKY hotdogs and then GraveSite Pie for dessert. Fun was had by all.

October snowstorm

Its hard to believe we never lost power through this freak snowstorm. We only lost cable and internet. We had friends staying with us until today and they've headed to her parents house. The husband will be staying with us as he has to work. Here are pictures of the yard. It looks worse now as Steven threw (or dragged) the ones from the driveway to the yard to clear the driveway. We will most likely have someone come cut them up as he's dealing with the bubble at the tennis club which collapsed. They have been able to drop it and most likely can repair and reinflate it then assess the damage to the courts.

Emily might be giving smiles soon - we can capture a few that we know aren't gas. Though with how she eats one can never be quite sure...
