Easter Egg Hunt 2011

Ian had a great time this morning at the Easter Bunny's pancake breakfast and egg hunt that they hold at his school. His friends Gabriel and Alexandra also came and he saw lots of little friends from school there. this year (unlike last) he understood the concept of gathering the eggs right off the bat . It was a little drizzly out there but at least the downpours held off until we were all inside eating.

The IMan vs the Dinos

Steven and I took Ian to visit the dinos at the Museum of Natural History in NYC on Sunday.  He had a great time! We got in and went straight to the fourth floor to see the dinos. Apparently all of Ian's imaginary dinos from Norwalk also went with us. After about a hour we went to get lunch and then since it was sunny we went over to Central Park and Ian proceeded to "rock climb" after watching the ducks for a bit. Then it was back in the front entrance with more gigantic dinos and into the mammal room. But the IMan had eyes for only one thing, so it was back to the fourth floor for one more visit to the dinos before leaving.

Reclaiming the backyard

Now that it is finally nicer out we are reclaiming our backyard. Ian is exploring the castle again and building birds nests with moss and filling them with rocks. I think the dinos are inside taking a nap - which hopefully with all the fresh air the IMan will soon join them...
