Arizona

Steven and I are going to Arizona in July for about 10 days. Yes - it will be hot - but as we keep joking - a dry heat! Last night we were online making plans. Its hard to determine what we want to exactly do. When we went to Alaska it wasn't hard - we just stayed in one place and did everything there. This time we are renting a car and driving all over. I think the most time will be spent up towards Sedona and the Grand Canyon. Of course we are going to be there over the Fourth - so that will be strange. If anyone has been to Arizona and has any suggestions - pass them our way!

We went to the north rim of the grand canyon when we went to vegas a few years back, so i don't have any tips on the south side. Vegas could be fun if you've never been. I hear ya on the "dry heat", it really does make a difference. I always think of hot air ballons for some strange reason when i hear arizona and sedona. Anyway, Have fun!!!

Thanks Michelle - hot air balloons would be cool. We rented the car last night - making sure it has air conditioning! Steven is taking a lot of time off - but we haven't gone away like this since Alaska two years ago.

Ok, it's been hard to get to your blog today for some reason. Takes forever to load. Anyhoodle, the above site seems like a good one. If you can work it in your budget i would take a hellicopter tour of the grand canyon. We didn't and i regreted it. Next time i will, with or without jeff, he's afraid of heights so i think thats why he didn't want to do it. Now i wanna find our video from when we went. LOL
